Our mission as a company is to create the most beautiful and functional rugs and broadloom while having as little impact on the environment as possible. We believe we are succeeding, one step at a time.

We use 100% carbon-neutral wind + solar energy on our high-tech power looms in the production of our rugs and broadloom. No dirty smoke or smog here.

The materials we work with are natural and renewable. Our rugs are crafted with strictly long-fiber New Zealand wool. New Zealand wool is a renewable, biodegradable resource. The long-fiber nature of our high-quality wool means no pilling and is long-lasting. Wool is by nature hypoallergenic, doesn’t stain easily, is easy to clean, and is naturally flame resistant. Best of all, our wool colors won’t fade and with proper care will last decades.

In our cotton rugs, we use only recycled cotton. Our local paper yarn is a durable, renewable resource.

We have a proprietary EVA backing on all our rugs. EVA is a food-grade material, safe and durable. Our rugs work well on all floors including radiant heated.

All employees at our mill have full health care as well as maternity and paternity leave.

Our mill utilizes local waste-to-energy processes. All waste material from production is either recycled back into the creation of our rugs or converted into energy using waste-to-energy. Waste to energy facilities typically reduces waste volumes by 90%.
